Senior Leadership Apprenticeship

USHA has partnered with Loughborough Business School (LBS) to tailor the existing Senior Leader Apprenticeship – MSc Strategic Leadership exclusively for Health and Safety professionals.

USHA recognises the necessity for H&S professionals to have access to a specialised curriculum that directly addresses the unique challenges of their field. This bespoke development program is meticulously designed by H&S professionals for H&S colleagues, providing a transformative experience that enhances leadership and management skills in a manner that aligns with industry-specific needs.

For more information, please see our brochure and visit the Loughborough Business School webpage. For further inquiries, contact Vicki at LBS via email at [email protected].

2026 Update

Following changes to Government apprenticeship funding introduced from 1 January 2026, government-funded places on Level 7 apprenticeships are generally only available to learners who are aged 16–21 at the start of the apprenticeship (with limited exceptions for eligible care leavers and learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan). As a result, many experienced Health and Safety professionals will no longer be eligible for apprenticeship funding and the USHA partnership with Loughborough Business School to deliver the Senior Leader Apprenticeship – MSc Strategic Leadership concluded with the 2025 cohort, which was the final intake under this arrangement.
