USHA Conference 2025
We are delighted to announce the 54th Annual University Safety & Health Association Conference will this year take place at Aston University in Birmingham on 7th, 8th and 9th October, running concurrently with the Fire Conference. Once again this is the most important event of the year for the University health safety and fire sector, and not to be missed by anyone within this sector who’s role involves keeping people safe at work.
The event will consist of 3 days of insightful and interactive sessions, along with a vibrant exhibition, evening entertainment and a range of CPD sessions. The event will provide the opportunity for you to network, learn, share ideas and be inspired by leaders from across this and other allied professions. All of this should ensure your attendance at the event leaves brimming with new ideas to take back to your own institutions.

Costs and Booking
The costs of this years conference have been maintained from last year to ensure member institutions can manage attendance within their budgets, as in previous years there will be a range of ticket options for both in person attendance and an online option. All main conference in person tickets will come with an allocation access passes for colleagues to view recordings of their selected topic sessions. The main conference tickets include the Gala Dinner on the 8th October.

TOP TIP: To change the dates of your stay, you must change the arrival date first, followed by the
departure date. They system will not allow just the departure date to be altered.

Getting there:
The Hotel and Conference Centre is located on the Aston University campus in Birmingham City Centre, easy to get to by road, rail and air. Here you’ll find handy guidance on how to get here, however you’re travelling.
A City Centre location means exceptional public transport, from three mainline train stations to the Midland Metro tram service, these are often the most sustainable choice. Taking the train can help you reduce your carbon footprint over taking a standard family petrol or diesel car.

The hotel is located within the Birmingham Clean Air Zone, covering all routes into the city centre when turning off the A4540 Ring Road at any junction. Check your vehicle prior to travelling.
