USHA Conference 2024
We are delighted to announce the 52nd Annual University Safety & Health Association Conference will this year take place at the University of Nottingham on 16th, 17th and 18th October, running concurrently with the Fire Conference.
This is the most important event of the year for the University health safety and fire sector, and not to be missed by anyone within this sector who’s role involves keeping people safe at work.
The event will consist of 3 days of insightful and interactive sessions, along with a vibrant exhibition, evening entertainment and a range of CPD sessions.
The event will once again provide the opportunity for you to network, learn, share ideas and be inspired by leaders from across this and other allied professions. All of this should ensure your attendance at the event leaves brimming with new ideas to take back to your own institutions.

Costs and Booking
The costs of this years conference have been maintained to ensure member institutions can manage attendance within their budgets, as in previous years there will be a range of ticket options for both in person attendance and an online option. All main conference in person tickets will come with an allocation of two free online passes for colleagues to attend their selected topic sessions. the full conference tickets and the main conference tickets include the Gala Dinner on the 17th October.

Accommodation
Conference delegates have access to a preferential rate of £115.00 inc VAT per night bed & breakfast (based on single occupancy), or £125.00 inc VAT for Double occupancy – this is available for the nights of 15th, 16th and 17th October.

Venue and Directions
The event will take place at East Midlands Conference Centre, Beeston Lane, University of Nottingham, NG7 2RJ.
The venue is approximately 4 miles away from Nottingham train station and 2 miles from Beeston train station. Nottingham’s tram system is accessible from both stations and takes you directly to the university park campus. There are 2 stops: University of Nottingham and University Boulevard, both are a short walk onto the campus.
