USHA offers four types of membership:
- Full Membership - Voting - UK Universities or Research Institutions with degree awarding ability.
- Associate – Nonvoting – Overseas Institutions, Research Institutions or other organisations (subject to approval by the USHA Executive Board).
- Affiliate – Private Companies, individuals, or institutions where membership is considered to be in the furtherance of the Association's Objectives. (subject to approval by the USHA Executive Board)
- Honorary members - Awarded to retired HE safety practitioners (subject to nomination and approval by USHA Executive Board)
The standard Membership period is from 1st August - 31st July.

3 - Credit card ( a standard processing fee of 2.5% applies) Please call 01273 - 641882 to make payment
If payment has not been received within 6 months after the issue of an invoice, you will be contacted by the USHA administrator to establish whether you wish to continue membership or whether your finance department are having difficulties in processing the invoice. Failure to respond may mean that your membership is withdrawn or suspended.
