The Chair of the USHA Nano Sub Group June Freeland is just back from the “Nanomaterials & Worker Health” Conference in Keystone Colorado.

Her summary report gives a brief overview of the presentations and data presented with conclusive remarks.

There was sufficient concern, at the conference, for a call for immediate action on certain topics on an international scale.

It was agreed international workshops should be formed to address the concerns raised and work on the implementation of global standards.

USHA will be staging a special one day NANO SAFETY SEMINAR later this year to debate the issues in the UK. More details to follow.
