Fire Group

The Fire Group comprises employees of USHA member institutions, who have Fire Safety as a responsibility within their terms of reference.

A number of the Group meet at regular intervals to discuss fire related matters.

There is also a small steering group.

The Fire Group has representation on the USHA Planning Group and is represented by

The Group has produced a number of Guidance documents which at this time are available as drafts.  These are being refined before being presented to the USHA Executive for approval and in turn passed to the UCEA Safety Group.

The Draft documents below are available to members in pdf format and the password to open them has been given to all those who are are members of the Fire Group.

Hasnet-Fire

Is a discussion group for Fire Officers and those with a specific responsibility for Fire Safety in the HE Sector.
